Legislative and Public Policy– Each member of BB&B has held integral positions in the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
The members of BB&B have been privy to the innermost workings of government policy-making, particularly health policy. BB&B members have drafted, negotiated and analyzed hundreds of the statutes and regulations currently defining health policy in Kentucky.
In addition, they logged dozens of hours testifying in front of various legislative committees, earning a reputation for diligent preparation and subject matter knowledge. Accordingly, the members of BB&B not only know health law, they helped write it.

Mediation Services– Jeff Barnett is a trained, certified mediator qualified to mediate all types of civil matters. The Kentucky Court of Justice recognizes and includes him on its approved roster of mediators.
During both his private practice and tenure at the Cabinet for Health and Family Services, he successfully facilitated the resolution of numerous disputes involving health care and regulatory matters. Furthermore, he is a frequent lecturer at continuing education seminars for health care and legal professionals regarding mediation and other alternative dispute resolution issues. |
